4. Application permissions

NearBeam may request the following permissions, used only for the operation of the application:

• Local network / Wi-Fi: to discover devices and transfer files on the local network.
• File access: to read files you choose to send and save received files.
• Screen capture: for the screen sharing feature (only when you activate it).
• Notifications: to inform you of received transfers in the background.

Received files are stored locally on your device, in the application's download folder. No data is stored on a remote server.

Transfers happen directly between your devices via your local network. Your data never travels through the Internet. Screen sharing uses WebRTC technology with direct peer-to-peer connection.

Since NearBeam does not collect any personal data, there is no data to view, modify, or delete. You can uninstall the application at any time to remove all local data.

10. Applicable law

This policy is subject to Moroccan law, in accordance with Law 09-08 on the protection of individuals regarding the processing of personal data. Any dispute will be subject to the competent jurisdiction of Casablanca.
